dungeon crawl

Today’s excerpt comes from “The Winter Storm: An Ever After Chronicle“, the brand new book written by Casey McKay, Renee Rose and me!

This scene takes place in Jillian’s bedroom, where she is being punished by Bertram. Unfortunately, Bertram finds that he is being punished also, and his wolf side is demanding  something more. Here’s what happens next.

*****

He had meant for this to be a punishment, but there was no way he could hold off any longer. The sight of her bare bottom contracting around the ginger, her legs slick with her juices, and the way she had rubbed her swollen pussy against the bed—he needed to be inside her. Now.

He stroked her soft skin and spanked one side, then the other, watching the pink build in her beautiful ass as she rocked back and forth. She kicked her legs and groaned, and he saw her beautiful pussy weeping, begging for release. He leaned forward and took a deep breath, imbibing the scent of her arousal. He flicked her swollen nub, and she cried out in ecstasy.

He threw her onto her back and watched her eyes dilate as he grabbed her wrists in his hands, pressing them into the mattress above her head. She shivered and swallowed hard, and the scent of her arousal increased.

“I want you, Jillian,” he growled.

“I—I want you too,” she stuttered in a combined state of arousal and something else. Fear?

“If I take you now, it’s going to be rough, hard. I need to mate with you, claim you as my own.” He paused to gauge her reaction, but her gaze never wavered.

She raised her head and looked him square in the eyes. “I’m yours to claim.”

“Forever? ‘Til death do us part?”

“How about happily ever after?” she beamed, and her eyes shone with love.

He growled and nuzzled her cheek. “Thank you. This part is going to satisfy my animal urges. I’m going to mark you and claim you as my own.”

“I understand,” she nodded.

“I promise, I won’t harm you.” He smelled her fear.

“Claim me, Wolfe,” she breathed as she pressed her groin up into his.

In a world where fairy tales and real life collide, in which truth is sometimes stranger than fiction and romance and fetish are the norm, a winter storm forces a cast of characters to converge at a unique lodge, and three interwoven tales are set in motion.

Jillian and her brother narrowly escape a wolf attack, thanks to a shapeshifter, Bertram. As the owner of the lodge, Bertram opens Jillian’s eyes to a whole new world filled with spanking and so much more. Will she keep fighting her submission, or allow herself the chance for true love?

Coral is a fugitive—hiding from herself, her true desires, and the sea witch to whom she owes a great debt. She fears showing real emotion and letting herself be free, but Jake Hill’s dominating presence beckons her to yield to him—not just her body, but her heart, mind, and soul. When the sea witch demands retribution, though, she may lose the one man she has come to trust.

When Faye blunders while casting a spell upon her landlord, he claims her as his slave until she can undo the magic, and she finds herself subject to his firm discipline. As her attraction to him grows, Faye fears she will give in to the handsome shifter and forever lose her maidenhood, and consequently her powers and the ability to fix her mistake.

Even as all three women struggle with surrendering to the dominant men they have fallen for, each finds herself on a journey to discover her true self. Can they find a way to yield to love without losing themselves in the process?

“Forever? ‘Til death do us part?”
    <— That's so cute!
    “How about happily ever after?

I can really feel the power dynamics in this HOT yet lovingly tender scene.
I especially love those three little words at the end… "Claim me, Wolfe."

      Thanks, LA.
LOL, I’m still kinda fairy tale-ish at heart. 🙂
And you would not believe how much trouble I had with those final three words!
There was a big discussion between me and the editor about whether it should be “wolf” (as in – his animal side), or “Wolfe” (his name).
It was a bit too confusing, so I went with his name. 🙂
      Thanks!

“Wolfe” was definitely the better choice in my opinion because the reader (that’s me) was able to interpret it both ways. a win-win!
Winter Storm and Lady and a Maid are my next two amazon purchases. 😉

Hmm, this passage did it for me –
He growled and nuzzled her cheek. “Thank you. This part is going to satisfy my animal urges. I’m going to mark you and claim you as my own.”

Shapeshifters aren’t the only ones with ‘animal urges’. I dare say if they’re honest, most men will admit to having animal urges.

      Thanks!
Actually, I have read that somewhere too! Something about caveman instincts overriding in certain instances, and it being natural for them to want to partake, but society today casting pressure on them to hide that side…
      Something like that, anyway.
      Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
