I just found the coolest site for spanking romance readers!
Itâs called Bethanyâs Woodshed, and is run by a very talented lady named Bethany Burke. I had never considered joining the website because it appeared to cost too much money. Then I did the math.
I usually spend between $15 and $20 a month on spanking romance e-books â or was that my weekly expense?
The subscription to Bethanyâs Woodshed was approximately 50$ for a 4 month subscription, equaling out to 12$ a month- if I did the math right.
And the best part is that I can download my books from them for free, with my subscription!
I downloaded some books that had already been released, including a few that have not been released yet.
Her Knight in Faded Denim, by Carolyn Faulkner
The Generalâs Daughter, book 2, by Breanna Hayse
Journeyâs Valentine, by Patricia Green
Journeyâs End, By Patricia Green
How cool is that!?! For the first time, I am ahead of the game, and am reading awesome stories from the authors I love. And I am doing it before the other readers! Woohoo!
And I have to say, the pictures on the site are AWESOME! Each web page has a different spanking picture (I think I recognized Erica Scott in one), very tastefully done, not pornographic, just artistically portraying the beauty found in the act of a loving, but firm bottom warming.
I love this site, and canât wait to get online and figure out how to use some of the functions, like the blog and sister sites, like Blushing Books. I really like buying from Blushing Books also. They have a great review policy, where you can earn money to buy more books. When I get a little strapped for cash (hehe, pun intended đ ), I do reviews to help me buy more books.
But for now, I am enjoying my reading. So many good books to read, and not enough time in the day.
_____________

The very first book I downloaded was a book from one of my favorite authors, Patricia Green.
I have loved reading her Journey series, and had just finished reading the 4th book, Deuceâs Dancer, (the story about Deuce and Pilar).
This new story is a novella, which has not been published yet, called Journeyâs Valentine. I love Deuce and Pilar, they are so perfect for each other. What I really liked about this quick little story was how easily Patricia was able to capture everything in approximately 22,000 words, and not make it feel rushed.
The story follows the continuing Journey of Deuce and Pilar, their ups and downs, their mistakes, their reconciliations, and of course, some extra special attention in the bottom warming arena. I have to be honest, I enjoy reading about spankings given by a loving, but authoritative hand. When I read a story by Patricia, sometimes I can actually feel the heat in my own backside. Itâs wonderful!
In the beginning of the story, Pilar received a punishment spanking from Deuce (the belt! Mmmmm), and was made to stand in the corner. It was such a great way to start the story. And it didnât falter from there. Their love making sessions were intense and beautiful. The plot also showcased their struggles as newlyweds, and a huge event that threatened to tear them apart.
This was so exciting! What a fun, quick read!
I love the whole Journey family! The men are strong, authoritative, good men, who know how to handle poor behavior. I keep having to remind myself they arenât real. Poor Hubby đŚ
(by the way, I will be interviewing Patricia soon, so we can talk about the issues of fantasy vs. reality in DD Fiction.)
And the women are just as lovable. They are strong, competent, good women with some lapses in judgment every once in a while, giving them the opportunity for some awesome OTKÂ action. Mmmm.
I wonât give the story away, but as is normal for Patricia Green books, it definitely has a HEA. Thank goodness. I love HEAâs!
I loved this novella, and canât wait to see it come out for everyone else to read. (Hopefully, Blushing Books wonât make us wait until next Valentineâs Day, though that is the title. Fingers crossed đ )
But, if you want to read it now, you can go check out Bethanyâs Woodshed.
Then you can read lots and lots of new books, without having to wait.
Shh, itâs our little secret.
Seriously, I mean that. Donât tell my husband. Iâm supposed to be on another spending freeze- necessary expenditures only. I wonder when he will figure out that my e-books are actually a necessity for me. Hmmm?
Happy reading, yaâall!
